Please take note of our opening hours during the festive holidays.
Do you have a puppy or are you thinking about getting a puppy? At Wellpets Kallangur we have a regular puppy preschool to help enhance and grow the relationship between you and your puppy.
As they say at this time of year, it really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas! However, let’s not forget about our furry family members during this time, as there are some hazards that we should be aware of when we start celebrating with all our loved ones.
Welcoming in the New Year and all our new resolutions begins with the staple favourites; fireworks, dance hits and party poppers. This celebration also marks one of the most common nights of the year that pets tend to escape.
Temperatures are heating up! This season is perfect for getting out and about with your furry friend, however we need to be prepared to protect our pets from the harsh summer sun.

As we welcome spring and warmer weather we also welcome the season for nesting birds. You may now notice on your walks fledglings on the ground.
With a spring in our step, there is a new found feeling of motivation to get back into being active. We all know what comes with this change in season… hay fever. Preparation begins about a month before, ensuring we have all the appropriate medication for a sneezing symphony or irritated eyes and a packet of tissues are always on hand. However, what about our pets?
Spring is finally here; the sun is shining, the birds are chirping and it seems as if summer is nearly in full swing. While we all love the warmer weather and getting back outside for walks with our favourite furry family members, this hot weather means that parasites are out and ready to strike.
While the beautiful flowers and interesting new plants adds to the brighter spring atmosphere, there are many that are a danger to our furry friends.
